Why should you be happy because of being part of the European Union?

As every spaniard knows, Spain is part of the European Union. But do we know what benefits we get for that? These are some of the examples why being european is better:

1.-Creation of Trade:
The costs and prices go down because each country can specialize to explode their comparative advantages.

 2.-Reduction of direct costs:
Removed internal customs, which involved administrative and bureaucratic costs, delays and technical regulations. The euro has meant the removal of costs and exchange rate risks, and a guarantee of moderate inflation.

 3.-Economies of scale:
A large market of 450 million consumers enables companies to develop their economies of scale, reducing average costs.

4.-Greater competition:
That leads to greater innovation and rationalization of production.

5. - Removal of Uncertainty:
The elimination of customs and exchangers favors trade by eliminating risks.

6.-Less problems in the balance of payments:
Increase in compensation for payments between Member States, thus reducing the need to maintain dollar reserves, yens ...

7.-Development of new large-scale activities: aerospace, Airbus, hydroelectric.

8.-Increase bargaining power against third parties: The Union is stronger than Spain to negotiate a fishing treaty with Morocco.

9. - Improves national economic policy:
as they must adhere to a strict discipline and follow existing European stability.

10. - Structural Reforms to apply more advanced patterns:
VAT harmonized accounting plan, corporate rules, PAC, stock market reform, education, banking, taxation ...

11. - Increased employment opportunities.

Now... Do you need more reasons? Believe in the European Union, it couldn't be possible without you!
Have a nice European Union's day! :)
